About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) and a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum. They will be able to work seamlessly with teachers and parents to provide support and guidance to students.
Key Responsibilities- To provide academic, social, and emotional support to students with SEN in a secondary school setting
- To develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- To contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Qualifications: Relevant teaching or support qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Education and Childcare
- Experience: Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
- Skills: Patience, nurturing and kind mindset, flexibility, previous experience with SEN/SEMH, compassionate and proactive, ability to liaise with teachers and parents
- Salary: £20,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
