Janitorial Assistant

Cleaner Position: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Imperial Cleaning Services SouthWest. The successful candidate will work part-time (10 hours/week), responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, term time only, with a 1-week deep clean per year.

Duties:

1. Conduct general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as necessary.
3. Empty bins and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
4. Clean mirrors and glass surfaces.
5. Ensure common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators remain clean and tidy.
6. Adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
7. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
