About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Administrator and Collections Coordinator to join our Accounts department at Machine Mart.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sales ledger accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Open new credit accounts and manage existing ones, ensuring timely payment from customers
  2. Post sales invoices to the ledger, accurately recording all transactions
  3. Raise and post credit notes and manual invoices, as required
  4. Active collection of payments via telephone and post
  5. Resolve customer and store queries, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales ledger and credit control, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
