Lead Technical Author Opportunity

Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Author to join their team in the UK. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for driving the development of documentation and technical writing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers and internal technical relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Act as the operational day-to-day technical expert, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Review schedules to ensure successful and precise delivery to key milestones.
  • Develop and implement processes, production methods, and training to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Assess technology and software solutions to automate processes and improve customer offerings.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in creating and compiling AESP (Army Equipment Support Publications) with a strong understanding of military standards and specifications.
  • Technical and engineering competence gained within relevant industries and environments.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be in the office 3 days a week initially.
  • UK national with SC security clearance or ability to gain clearance.
