Senior Claims Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Executive to join our team at Howden. As a key liaison between clients and insurers, you will be responsible for ensuring that property claims are handled with the highest standards of service, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage property claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective claims-handling strategies, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution of claims.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and claims handlers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve claims-handling processes and outcomes.
- Proven experience in claims handling, preferably in the London Market and with a focus on property claims.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship-building.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
