About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Referrals Officer at Polaris Community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing, processing, and acting on referrals received from local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to match young people with foster families according to their needs.
  • Work effectively within a team and independently to make decisions and find creative solutions when needed.
  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues, foster families, and local authorities through confident, responsive, and professional communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within children's services or similar, or direct sales experience.
  • Strong organizational and administration skills, with the ability to follow regulatory policies and processes.
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment.
