Level Designer

Aardman is seeking an experienced Level Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality levels for our new real-time stealth game. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and challenging gameplay experiences that deliver on our project's unique vision.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build high-quality levels that meet the project's creative and technical requirements
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and cohesion across the game world
- Work closely with the art team to ensure that levels are visually stunning and immersive
- Develop and maintain level documentation to ensure that the design intent is clear and accessible to the team
- Contribute to the development of game mechanics and systems that support the level design
- Proven experience as a Level Designer on one or more titles
- Strong understanding of game design principles and level design best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work creatively and compassionately with disciplines across the studio
- Strong grasp of visual communication and UX
- Experience in the stealth genre
- Experience working on mobile
- Experience with the Unreal Gameplay Ability System
- Experience with prototyping
- Experience mentoring junior designers
