Chef de Partie Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, producing high-quality food for catering and events.

About the Role:

  1. To lead and manage the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional presentation, taste, and quality.
  2. To maintain accurate records and adhere to strict food hygiene procedures, guaranteeing a safe and healthy working environment.
  3. To oversee a specific kitchen station, optimizing workflow and efficiency while supporting other areas of the kitchen as needed.
  4. To coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, prioritizing timely food preparation and efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Possess extensive experience in Michelin-starred or high-end restaurants, hotels, or similar establishments.
  • Be proficient in managing all kitchen sections, demonstrating adaptability and creativity under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for food, exceptional customer service, and strong attention to detail.
  • Hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Professional Cookery.
  • Showcase excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a 'can-do' attitude and strong leadership abilities.
