As a Primary Teacher at New Barn School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Learning

Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our pupils.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring

Regularly assess pupil progress and adjust instruction to ensure that all pupils meet their full potential.

Classroom Management

Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status

Hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a background in teaching a range of subjects at the Primary level.

SEN Experience

Have experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) complexities and challenging behaviors.

Curriculum Knowledge

Have a strong understanding of current education issues and curriculum developments.
