We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to join our team as a Third in Charge Childcare Coordinator at a reputable quality Nursery based near Horsforth, Leeds.

About the Role

This challenging role requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who is passionate about childcare and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the staff team, implementing high standards of quality practices, and establishing daily routines that promote independence in children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of the EYFS framework. They will also be able to demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and children/colleague wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and support the staff team as agreed with the Manager and implement high standards of quality practices within the nursery.
  • To establish daily routines that encourage independence for the children in line with best practice.
  • To implement EYFS and any other legal and statutory frameworks.
  • To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and the staff code of conduct.
  • To undertake any duties set by the management team that will assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
