About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join our team at The King's School. As a Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and well-being, working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the development and education of pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with teaching staff and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
• Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
• Assisting with the monitoring and recording of student progress, including tracking student behavior and academic achievement.
• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs, including behavior management and communication strategies.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs, and who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff, and to be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
