Job Title: Mechanic's Technician

IKM Testing UK in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join their busy Workshop Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all workshop and yard related activities, including maintenance, fabrication, and equipment function testing.
  • Ensure personal house-keeping is maintained to a high standard to improve efficiency and safety at all times.
  • Liaise with stores to ensure there are spare parts within the store to cover routine maintenance of all equipment.
  • Mentor trainees during their time in the workshop.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Foreman or Workshop Manager.
Requirements:
  • Proven mechanical background with experience in diesel engines, fluid pumps, and nitrogen equipment.
  • Previous experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Overhead crane and forklift truck license up to 16T.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline and Process testing operations and the equipment used.
