IT Security Leadership Opportunity

The Kyowa Kirin Group invites applications for a Director of IT Security and Governance role, focusing on driving strategic security initiatives. As a seasoned security professional, you will lead cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to enhance data and network security initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a management framework with key stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic, identifying potential security threats.
  • Design and develop detailed cybersecurity architectures, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Manage the Third Party Risk Management program, ensuring vendor security and compliance.
  • Implement controls to reduce IT risks in cloud environments, aligning with business goals.
  • Support Information Security Programs, advising on best practices and providing guidance to teams.
  • Participate in global and regional IT security initiatives, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain high security capabilities across all IT systems, ensuring continuity and resilience.
  • Perform vendor security audits and screenings, validating supplier risk levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Engineering or related field required.
  • Master's degree in IT, Security, or Data Science preferred.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent are a bonus.
  • Proven leadership in security operations, incident response, governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Experience building and maintaining security systems, with a focus on scalability and adaptability.
  • In-depth knowledge of database and OS security, with expertise in firewalls, IDS, antivirus, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering.
  • Expertise in network security and monitoring tools, including MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS and MS Azure, with business acumen to manage complex scenarios.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts effectively.
Salary Estimate

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $200,000 - $240,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
