Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at emagine Consulting.

About the Role: As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust solutions using Python. You will lead a team of developers, guiding them through complex projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with front office teams, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Python Development: Utilise your expertise in Python to design and implement robust solutions.
  2. Leadership: Lead a team of developers, guiding them through complex projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with front office teams, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.
  4. Risk and Modelling: Apply your knowledge of risk management and financial modelling to enhance decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Quartz is preferred; experience with Athena and SecDB is also advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with business stakeholders and technical teams.
