About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Acute Medical SDEC team at Fairfield General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert clinical and professional support, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills and clinical attributes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, working independently with support from consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to the development and mentorship of junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Advanced Practice or a related field.
  • Post-basic qualification in specialty and Non-Medical Prescriber (Independent) status.
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2) or AHP with current HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-registration experience, preferably in Acute Medicine or Urgent Care.
