Job Title: Senior Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth Location

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth. As a senior member of our support staff, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional educational outcomes and providing expert support to students, teachers, and colleagues.

About the Role:

  • You will lead a team of teaching assistants, guiding and supporting them in their roles to ensure seamless delivery of lessons and activities.
  • With a focus on student-centered learning, you will collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • The Senior Teaching Assistant will also contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources, ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of teaching assistants, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans for students, in collaboration with teachers and colleagues
  • Contribution to the development of curriculum materials and resources, reflecting best practices and national standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a teaching assistant, with a proven track record of academic success and leadership
  • Degree-level qualification in education or a related field, preferably with a specialization in teaching and learning
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
