About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated DT Technician to support the Design and Technology department in a vibrant secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hands-on learning and a strong background in design-related fields such as DT, Engineering, or Art.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in practical lessons (KS3 and KS4) to enhance students' experience in Design and Technology
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff
  • Work across all areas within the Art, Design, and Technology faculty
  • Promote and ensure health and safety within the department
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Engineering, DT, or Art) or have practical experience with hand tools and woodworking
  • Be passionate about the potential of every pupil
  • Be reliable and possess strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential
