About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their ability to work
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather medical history and perform physical examinations
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP)
  • Work independently, but as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
  • Be a GPhC Registered Pharmacist with a minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience within the past five years
  • Have continuous professional development present on your CV
  • Have great oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and respond to a rapidly changing environment
  • Have IT skills and experience of using a range of software
  • Be self-aware and focused on professional development
  • Be honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
  • Be motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery
  • Be able to work on your own initiative to meet deadlines and standards
  • Be willing to work as a reliable and efficient team member and support the multi-disciplinary team
