We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Trainee to join our team at our Bridgwater site.

About the Role

This 4-year apprenticeship programme combines technical training, academic study, and work-based learning. You will study towards a recognised qualification and gain invaluable experience in engineering.

  • Asset Management: Maintain manufacturing machinery, manage processes, fill/pack products, and ensure site cleanliness.
  • Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects, project management, tests, and trial activities.
  • Fault finding and quick action to meet food safety standards.
  • Part of a team striving for high-quality products.
  • HIGHLIGHTING CONCERNS AND ENSURING PRODUCTS OR VOLUMES MEET AGREED REQUIREMENTS AND TARGETS.
About Us

We aim to be Britain's private-label dairy leader, producing branded and private-label fresh milk, cream, butter, and ingredients products. Our network of dairies and depots services customers throughout the country.

Salary and Benefits

You will receive an annual salary of £18,500 with structured increases yearly. A full-time role of 40 hours per week is also included.

Required Skills and Qualifications

National 5s at band C or above in English & Maths, plus a science/technical subject are required. A clear passion for engineering is essential. Excellent attention to detail, good time management skills, and ability to analyse problems are also necessary.

Progression Opportunities

Potential to progress onto a Level 6 Engineering Degree if you show drive and enthusiasm.
