Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Social Housing Development Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our Social Housing team, you will work closely with clients, including registered providers, local authorities, and developers, to advise on property law, acquisitions, site development, and complex legal matters such as securitisation and planning obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on property law, acquisitions, site development, and complex legal matters such as securitisation and planning obligations.
  • Work with clients to deliver innovative legal solutions to address the challenges within the social housing sector.
  • Assist clients in providing a service to the social housing sector, from advising on head of terms for a site acquisition, site assembly, due diligence, and contract negotiation, through to setting up the site for plot disposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in social housing/property law.
  • Strong advisory and project management capabilities.
  • 6 years+ PQE (will also consider from 4 years but as an associate).
