System Tester and Commissioning Lead

We are seeking a Senior Systems Tester to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe. As a key member of the Control Systems team, you will be responsible for leading testing and commissioning activities for various projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all systems meet project requirements, balancing off-site and on-site testing while mentoring colleagues.
This is a safety-critical position that requires technical expertise with an innovative mindset. You will have experience in data testing of modern Railway Control Systems and be able to define and control testing activities. In addition, you will develop test plans, lead on-site commissioning activities, and mentor colleagues to grow the System testing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Lead or Senior Tester within Railway Control Systems, including data testing of modern Railway Control Systems such as WESTCAD/MCS / IECC, TDMs, and Train Describers. They must also hold valid PTS ac/dc certificate, Signalling Tester in Charge Licence 1.170, Emergency First Aid and Manual Handling certification, and IOSH Managing Safety certification.
