We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team at a leading university. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the university's building mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
Located at the Chelmsford campus, you will oversee a small team of Maintenance Craftspersons, ensuring all services and building operational requirements are met and delivered. Your key responsibilities will include inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical & electrical equipment, as well as installing and commissioning new equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have previous technical hands-on field experience, ideally gained in a multi-site environment. Strong interpersonal communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to motivate a team to drive performance. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
