Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Systems Architect to join our team. As a Finance Systems Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions to manage our firm's financial control and reporting obligations. You will work closely with our global agile teams to develop and manage platforms, calculation engines, and analytical tools that controllers, risk management, and deal-making teams use to project, monitor and report externally to regulators for both regular business activity and under stress scenarios.



Responsibilities

  • In an Agile environment, you will manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis to coding, testing, UAT, implementation and maintenance
  • You will develop high-level and detailed technical designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans
  • You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that provides exposure to all areas of Finance
  • You will understand and respond to business needs, facilitating and developing process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation
  • You will build strong relationships with business partners
  • You will identify opportunities for cross-divisional collaboration and reuse of common solutions


Requirements and Qualifications

  • You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • You should have 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience preferably in Java, C/C++, Python, or Scala, exposure to RDBMS and NoSQL datastores
  • You should have strong programming and problem-solving skills
  • You should have a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, and core programming concepts
  • You should have strong full-stack technical design and development skills and experience
  • You should be comfortable with multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a team
  • You should have excellent communication skills, including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally
  • You should have an interest in finance

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
