A leading Dutch machine building company with over 300 employees is seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their team. As a key member of their Installation & Commissioning sector, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive solutions to global clients in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and test assembled process installations and machine lines to ensure alignment with customer specifications.
  • Transport and commission the system at the client's location, working closely with a Controls Engineer, Technicians, and/or Contractors.
  • Conduct I/O tests, functionality tests, and methodically commission the process installation in the production area.
  • Collaborate with the client's team to produce desired volumes and maintain meticulous records of project progress.
  • Regularly report project progress to the Project Manager and engage in discussions about encountered issues.
Requirements
  • Completed technical vocational education in Process Technology, Food Technology, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in commissioning process installations within the global food industry.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical installations and PLCs (S7, Allen Bradley, and possibly SCADA).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate in Dutch or Spanish highly preferred.
  • Customer-oriented, ability to maintain composure under pressure, and possess creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel globally.
