About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and innovative Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional food experiences for our clients and customers.

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, identifying opportunities to improve our food service, and creating a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Food Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve our food service and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Team Management: Create a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported.
  • Food Concepts: Support the team in delivering our tasty food concepts to our customers.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Inventory Management: Support the team with ordering food, stock control, and controlling food waste.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Financial Management: Support the team to manage budgets and successfully meet financial targets.
  • Compliance: Comply with Food Handling and Hygiene standards and Health and Safety regulations.
