Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and visitors on campus.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and control access to campus buildings and facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing a high level of customer service and support to those affected.
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
- Provide guidance and advice to staff, students, and visitors on security procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- DBS clearance and SIA door supervisor license.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and support. The role will require flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
