Progressive Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Installation Design Project Engineer to join our client on a large cross-country cable installation project.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and engineering of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications, while mitigating risks. This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with occasional site visits and office attendance for important meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering efforts for the large cross-country cable installation project.
• Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and drawings for the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with site engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and installation processes.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the project team.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the design and installation phases of the project.
• Perform site visits to inspect installations, verify design compliance, and address any on-site design issues.
• Prepare and present detailed design reports and project status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Coordinate with various departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project delivery.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
