Compassionate Caregiver for People with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and a commitment to delivering person-centered care. You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support service users in developing and maintaining skills and interests.
- Maintain accurate records of service user's progress and needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work flexibly and respond to changing situations.
