Vallum Associates is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Solvency II and Insurance Data Mapping, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation's compliance with regulatory requirements, driving the design and implementation of key reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and enhancement of Solvency II regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards.
* Oversee and refine the mapping of complex insurance data to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Risk, Finance, and IT departments, to gather requirements, provide insights, and drive decision-making processes.
* Manage and deliver key projects within the regulatory reporting space, from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards and timelines.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all regulatory reporting processes, data mappings, and system configurations.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on Regulatory Reporting within Financial Services or Insurance industries.
* In-depth knowledge of Solvency II regulations, insurance data mapping, and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in data analysis, data mapping tools, and reporting systems (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools). Experience with regulatory reporting software is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA, CIMA) are a plus.
