Job Description

In this role as Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing multiple financial aspects across Africa, covering six countries. You will provide business partnering support to the Regional Vice President and ensure compliance with local statutory audits and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and expand banking relationships in your region.
  2. Ensure timely completion of local statutory accounts production by the Management Accounts team.
  3. Manage the month-end reporting process, ensuring all key financial metrics are reviewed and reported within working deadlines.
  4. Analyse financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions.

The successful candidate will also oversee the preparation of monthly financials and develop, interpret, and implement financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and control processes for the business unit. This role will focus on enhancing governance, improving cost control, and conducting financial performance analysis against budget and quarterly forecasts.
