About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our Yorkshire & the Humber Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting structural assessments using Eurocodes and British Standards
  • Managing project schedules and ensuring quality deliverables, including inspections and reports
  • Reviewing schemes and preparing conceptual design options
  • Supervising design teams and mentoring junior structural engineers
  • Collaborating with clients and partners to develop buildable and maintainable solutions
  • Preparing technical reports and applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects
  • Conducting site surveys and inspections
Requirements
  • UK experience within a public, private, or third sector UK-based client
  • Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or IEng or CEng
  • Proven experience in structural design using British Standards
  • Familiarity with current design practices and local/national guidance
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software packages
  • A Full UK driving license
