Pre-Construction Manager
Commercial Office fit out Company
Salary:
£60 - 80k plus package (depending on experience)
Our client, a successful office fit out contractor, has developed long-lasting relationships with multiple blue-chip companies by producing high-end projects.
They are committed to fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.They value creativity and the ability to think outside the box, ensuring projects are both successful and aligned with client visions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing pre-design budgets to inform project feasibility.
- Writing comprehensive schedules of works to guide project timelines.
- Attending tender interviews and presenting project proposals.
- Fully costing projects and developing detailed specifications.
- Engaging with sub-contractors to ensure foundational elements are in place and identifying value engineering opportunities.
- Assisting with placing orders and managing procurement processes.
- Contributing to bid writing efforts, ensuring clarity and competitiveness.
- Assisting with programming projects to align with client expectations.
- Maintaining a client-facing role, effectively communicating project progress and updates.
- Preparing and agreeing on interim valuations with clients' representatives and managing supply chain payments.
Preferably, you will have previous experience with a Design & Build Fit Out company or Main Contractor.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Office fit out experience (not essential)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A creative thinker who can manage client budgets innovatively, offering alternative materials and processes while adhering to commercial constraints.
- Will work collaboratively with the Design team to align the commercial aspects of proposals.
- Comfortable meeting and negotiating with supply chain leaders to ascertain project costs.
