About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving delivery vehicles from box wagons to 7.5-ton trucks, adhering to all licensing requirements
  • Participating in installation teams to carry out installation, removal, and relocation works as required, following Health and Safety procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service, being well-presented, polite, and having good interpersonal skills
  • Assisting with all aspects of safe crew operation
Main Duties and Responsibilities

As an Installation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Safely installing, relocating, and removing heavy equipment for key account customers, Post Office, and private clients
  • Carrying out site surveys for upcoming works
  • Ensuring correct use of 7.5-ton vehicles and adherence to Tachograph rules and regulations
  • Completing daily driving logs, vehicle checks, and maintaining cleanliness of exteriors and fluid levels
  • Preparing and distributing RAMS and asbestos registers on-site
  • Demonstrating safe lock setups and providing effective training to customers
  • Maintaining PPE standards and promoting a positive working relationship within the installation team
  • Processing timesheets and expense claims accurately and efficiently
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance personal technical skills and contribute to the company's high skill level capability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid 7.5-ton driver's license
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in delivering and installing heavy equipment or plant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
