Machinist Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a precision engineering service that specializes in CNC turning, milling, wire EDM, and laser cutting. As a CNC Operator with experience in milling, you will be a crucial part of the manufacturing process, operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines, interpreting and following engineering drawings, and ensuring the accurate measurement and inspection of components. Additionally, they will perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

In this role, you will collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ensure the accurate measurement and inspection of components, making adjustments as necessary to maintain precision.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.
