Psychotherapist Therapies and Wellbeing Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychotherapist to lead our Therapies and Wellbeing Team at Haven House. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering psychological support to children, young people, and families during some of their most challenging moments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the Therapies and Wellbeing Team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a positive and productive team environment.
  • Facilitate group therapies and one-on-one sessions, working closely with our clinical and nursing teams to deliver holistic, family-centred care.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships with professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Work closely with our integrated care team to deliver comprehensive, long-term care to children and families.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the health and social care systems and operating frameworks.
  • Experience of working in children's palliative care and/or bereavement.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations with child or young person and their families that have complex mental health conditions and challenging behaviours.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
