Early Careers HR Advisor Role at Frazer Jones

Frazer Jones is excited to partner with a leading law firm to recruit an Early Careers HR Advisor for their team. This role is designed to support early career talent within the firm, including graduates, apprentices, and interns.

As the Early Careers Adviser, you'll play a crucial role in providing HR operational support and advice to trainee solicitors, future trainees, solicitor apprentices, and trainers. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm to ensure early career employees have the necessary support, resources, and training to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Future Trainee & Trainee Induction: Plan and coordinate trainee inductions with the Early Careers HR Assistant and Senior Assistant.
  • Performance Development: Coordinate the performance review process, communicating key deadlines to trainees, solicitor apprentices, and trainers, monitoring completion of performance reviews, and analysing performance rating allocations across the trainee population.
  • Seat Plan Management: Manage the Early Careers London seat plan, including trainees and solicitor apprentices.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and support on employee relations cases, such as ill-health, personal issues, wellbeing, absence, or performance management.
  • Events Organization: Organise and run events for those at the firm or those joining in the future, alongside other Early Careers Development team members.
  • Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for solicitor apprentices.

About the Role:

  • Proven HR experience in a partnership environment, ideally within the legal sector.
  • Experience of working with a graduate/trainee population is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience in reporting on program outcomes.
  • Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
