Supplier Quality Engineer Role

Located in Coventry, this Suite Supply Chain Job offers an estimated salary of GBP25-GBP30 per hour (Outside IR35).

The working hours are 08:00-16:35 (Mon Thu) and 08:00-15:10 (Fri), which include onsite work.

This initial 6-month contract may be extended based on performance.

Job Description:

  • Lead supplier audits and report on Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assess manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
  • Carry out Material Review Boards, Root Cause Corrective Action, Non-Conformance Management, design, and development phases of programmes.
  • Support the link between Goods-In and the relevant manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

  • Proven history within Defence or Automotive supply chain management is essential.
  • HND/HNC in manufacturing/engineering or relevant experience is desirable.

About You:

  • You should have experience with Quality Assurance Tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, First Article Inspection Reports, and Part Submission Warrants.
  • Knowledge of measurement techniques including Metrology, Inspection Methods, and Equipment.
