Yolk Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent defence consultancy aiming to expand their Infrastructure Engineering team due to a surge in project demands.
As a successful candidate, you will become part of a skilled team that collaborates closely with government and defence clients to architect, implement, and oversee essential IT infrastructure.
The team is responsible for managing both Windows and Linux server environments, including on-premises and virtual solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure infrastructure platforms (Windows & Linux).
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and support the delivery team in ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Operate within established monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to meet client needs.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive experience in the design, implementation, and management of Windows or Linux infrastructure.
- Proficient in managing on-premises and VMware server environments.
- Experience in automation using PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with infrastructure design and automation.
- Active DV security clearance.
