Events Coordinator Specialist

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Meetings and Events Professional to join Cartwheel Recruitment Ltd in Peterborough.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Meetings and Events Executive to oversee the planning and execution of events at our venue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service and driving new business initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enquiries and Negotiations: Respond to all meeting and event enquiries, negotiating room hire, catering, and audio-visual services, and confirming contracts.
- Client Relationship Management: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences throughout the planning stage, handing over the full event order to the operations team to deliver on the day.
- Site Visits and Client Meetings: Conduct site visits and client meetings to showcase the venue and discuss event details.
- Event Execution: Meet and greet clients on the day of the event.
- Post-Event Evaluations: Handle post-event evaluations to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
- Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the General Manager to drive new sales initiatives and local awareness to attract new meetings and events business.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in Meetings and Events Executive roles within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
