Job Description

This role will involve working under the supervision of our Practice Nurses, performing a range of procedures and health-checks for patients, as directed by competency and training. You will be responsible for supporting the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services, working collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide care within your scope of practice.

You will be involved in assisting clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, and patient education. This may include undertaking new patient health checks, supporting health promotion programmes, carrying out baseline observations, facilitating routine and 24-hour BP monitoring, and undertaking wound care and dressings.

In addition to these responsibilities, you may be required to participate in practice audit, local initiatives to enhance service delivery, and shared learning within the practice. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through mandatory training and external courses.
