Job Title: A&E General Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate A&E General Nurse to join our team at St Barnabas Hospice. As a key member of our palliative care team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with complex symptom control issues, supporting them and their families in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide hands-on nursing care to patients in their own homes, working in a small team of highly skilled nurses
* Deliver high-quality palliative care, including emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to St Barnabas Hospice's policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Current First Level registration with the NMC
* Ability to perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of patients and their families
* Access to independent transport to visit patients in their own homes (as required by the role)
* Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
* UK resident
