We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Companion Healthcare Assistant at Oakbank Care Home.

About the Role
  • As a Companion Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • You will work closely with our nursing and care teams to deliver personalized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, promoting independence and positive choices.
  • Provide Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention.
  • Monitor Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents' health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assisting with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Uphold Dignity: Ensure the dignity and respect of each resident are upheld, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
