Job Overview

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing expert support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate expert practice around substance misuse treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience working within substance misuse services, multi-disciplinary team working, and key working and psychological/psychosocial interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Substance Misuse or equivalent
  • L3 Drug and Alcohol or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.
