We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in East Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic care for patients
- Develop integrated care plans in partnership with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Order equipment and refer patients to other services as necessary
- Lead and support junior staff in assessing and reassessing patients with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to provide high-quality patient care
- Identify and address any deterioration in patients' condition, taking appropriate action
- Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs
- Support in duty role and complete triages
- Support the Clinical Lead in managing the team
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC or HCPC registration) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
- Valid UK NMC PIN
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to individuals and groups
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
