Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Wagon & Drag Specialist

Rapier Employment is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our client's team in Oxfordshire. As a Wagon & Drag HGV Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and recovering products from customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and install products from customer sites
  • Ability to follow exact directions and maintain accurate records
  • Operate heavy equipment (crane) or be willing to receive training
  • Work as part of a team and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of hand tools and adherence to Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and occasional weekends
Requirements:
  • Current HGV Class 1 license
  • Pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug/alcohol screen/physical
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CSCS card (training will be provided)
  • Experience in Wagon & Drag operations
  • Construction and Transmission & Distribution experience

This role involves working in remote locations across the UK, often as part of a crew. You will be required to work nights away from home, but not always. You will be responsible for your own truck and will not be sharing with others.
