Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading food manufacturer in the Wednesbury area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of equipment and machinery across the production plant, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Work with the engineering manager and maintenance team to implement changes and improvements to optimize production
  • Undertake troubleshooting and diagnosis to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Document work effectively on the CMMS and write reports as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with experience in food production environments
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly related to health and safety
  • Ability to work 1 allocated night shift per week (Monday to Thursday)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Experience with CMMS and ability to document work effectively
