Job Title: Early Years Worker

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Lead Early Years Professional to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, inclusive childcare and early education
  • Establish a safe, welcoming environment that promotes children's learning and development
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's learning and development
  • Work in a non-discriminatory, culturally sensitive manner to encourage all families to access the service
Requirements:
  • A level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Children's Care, Learning and Development, or equivalent
  • Recent and extensive experience of working with young children, particularly two-year-olds, and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
  • Experience of providing quality and stimulating play and learning opportunities for young children
  • Experience of working with disabled children, young people, and parents/carers and delivering an inclusive child-centred service
