Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to lead our Quality Department and ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and develop our Quality Management Systems to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Assist the Quality Manager in all aspects of Quality Assurance, including coordinating and supporting CAPA meetings and investigations.
- Lead and/or contribute to complaints and deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and report writing.
- Support Quality Management System projects by participating with cross-functional teams to progress and implement new systems and processes.
- Maintain the QMS audit process and complete internal QMS audits across the site.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage Supplier Appraisal Systems across the supply chain and effectively resolve non-conformities.
- Manage the company's Kosher accreditation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Administer electronic document control system data handling and provide training on company processes and procedures to all employees.
- Audit guide for on-site 3rd party audits.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience working in a chemical industry environment.
- Knowledge and practical application of QMS systems, such as ISO 9001.
- Knowledge and experience of conducting investigations, root cause analysis, and report writing.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 administration, with some part in a technical environment.
- Ability to use various computerized systems with confidence, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Document Management Systems.
- Educated to minimum 'A' level standard or equivalent in a technical subject.
- Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience of computer-based systems, such as Q-Pulse and SAGE X3.
Monday to Friday, 08:45 AM until 16:30 PM. Career development opportunities with internal and external training available. Salary: £30k - £32k per year (depending on experience). 25 days paid holiday, plus all 9 UK Bank Holidays. Paid sick scheme, BHSF benefit scheme, free life assurance, and access to a stakeholder pension scheme.
