About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our Digital QA team at Centrica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and customers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for various software products and features.
  • Perform manual and automated testing using various tools and frameworks.
  • Identify, analyse, and report software defects and issues.
  • Support a team of software quality engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and feedback to developers and product managers.
  • Review and improve quality processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate test results and status to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering or testing.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading or managing a team of software quality engineers or testers.
  • Experience writing tests in JavaScript.
  • Experience with various testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
