About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Support Assistant to join our Estates team at Nottingham Trent University. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the University by undertaking various duties such as setting up furniture for meetings and special events, supporting office moves, and disposing of items of furniture and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Estates team in the delivery of facilities management services
  • Undertake various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the University, including setting up furniture for meetings and special events
  • Assist with office moves and other relocations
  • Dispose of items of furniture and equipment in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Receive and record deliveries

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Valid driving license
